At BOTH, We like transparency. This isn’t your typical Frequently asked questions section. This is the type of FAQ where we answer the day to day concerns you have. If you have any questions you’d like us to answer that aren’t already covered, please message support@both.one

How much do you charge for a website?

Our website packages are a flat upfront fee of £699 plus VAT. This is the build cost for a fully functioning E-Commerce, trading website, with built in Loyalty scheme, appointment booking, social media links, and scalable to all devices, from phones to Macs.

Why is BOTH so in-expensive?

The process we use to build your website takes a certain amount of time and a lot of planning. Unlike other providers, we use a tried and tested, user friendly, easy to navigate framework that is very popular in the Jewellery industry, and which we know performs.  Meaning that with each new website we build, the framework is pre- created thereby shortening the lead-times dramatically. From here, we tune the design to incorporate your brand guidelines, including logo’s colour schemes, etc. This then gives you a unique design tailored to your business. Having a BOTH website is not an expense to your business, it is the most important investment that your business will ever make – a sales tool that should earn you money.

How long does it take to build a website?

It takes approximately 5 days to build a website from concept to going live, providing we have all the information from you. Generally speaking, the sooner you get us the information required on the contact, the quicker we can get you live.  Bespoke creations can take from 3-9 weeks to build.

How do we communicate throughout the website build?

At the commencement of the project, we will usually have an initiall chat on the phone or via Zoom to discuss the project. Once we get started, most of the communication will take place over email with your allocated developer, this is typically over whatsapp or via our support ticketing system. This makes the process a lot easier as we will have all of the information saved and can come back to it later. Once we’ve completed the design and have the site in Beta (testing mode), we will book you in for a 1hr digital marketing training session.  To assist in training and ongoing support, our video library is always here to assist.

What will you need from me?

Critical information which we will need you to start the project, is all on your contract, but some of the items are listed here:

  • Company details
  • Paypal logins
  • Payment gateway logins
  • Logo and colours – Brand guidlines
  • Content for the website e.g. text, PDFs etc
  • Staff Profiles
  • Klarna login (if used)
  • Trustpilot logins (if used)
  • Social media handles and logins
  • Current email/website login details

Some of this may be extractable on your current website, should you have one, in which case it can be transferred over to the new site.

When we design your website, we’ll build in all the features you want, including an email sign-up form.

What you will need is an email marketing platform such as campaign manage, or Mailchimp or Convert Kit. As you’re collecting customer’s private data it is imperitive to invest in a secure and reliable third party service such as those listed above. We can integrate this for you, however, these companies do charge for their software which will be a premium over and above what you pay for the website..

No. We only use WordPress to build websites. We have used other platforms in the past but not anymore. Being open source language, there are over 65,000 plugins available, which means that we can integrate it with pretty much any third party software that you wish to use.

If you already have a website we can use the content easily. This means we can build your new website whilst your other website is still live. Once we are ready to go live and you are happy with the new site, we can then swap the old site for the new one. It can take as little as 10 minutes for the new website to be visible. This means you will not even notice a dip in your traffic numbers.
